Tramping
The Homestead is located at the start and end of the Greenstone Caples loop track that can also be added on to the Routeburn walking track. It is the ideal spot to have a luxurious and relaxing evening after walking the local tracks.
Fishing
Within walking distance there is opportunity to fish for Salmon, Rainbow and Brown trout. Guides can be arranged to take guests fishing on the lake or further up the Greenstone and Caples rivers.
Fishing rods and other equipment is available to hire for guests who choose to try fishing on their own. We are also able to arrange the appropriate licences and permits for the areas that guests want to fish.
Hunting
On Greenstone station there is the opportunity to hunt for free range Red Deer, Fallow Deer and Chamois.
Hunting is only permitted with a local guide and packages can be tailored to suit your needs.
